The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

We used to have an English teacher who would tell us to use stuff that supposedly makes good writing like 'The Holy Trinity', rhythm and rhyme, etc etc etc. So we suppose if we were to pepper the entire writing with these stuff, we should be making fab writing in no time! Actually, we're too lazy to think too hard, we'll just apply the principles on the subject title. Let's see, hmm. Good enough. We know, we are most of the time quite pointless.

#3 The Ugly

Technically we're not saying the entire thing's ugly, of course, nothing we wear is ever ugly. Now, skeletons, that's a whole new level of ugliness and a Willy Wonka skeleton too. That's downright ugly since you can't make out it's Johnny Depp anymore. We haven't decided if we're mildly disturbed or strangely excited by the fact that we're loving it anyway.

*Dress is pretty long by itself, we're 5'6" and it comes up to about the knee and it is pretty shapeless as it is, but damn we love it when worn cinched at the waist cause we pull it up to any length we like and it's hangs nice and loose the way we like.

Tribute!

We just saw the Season 2 finale of Gossip Girl and all we're wondering to ourselves is, if they are all off to college, does it mean we won't see anymore of the fab forms of Constance uniform styling?

If that's the case, we happen to have the perfect tribute dress!

Well, we've been back actually about two weeks now (two weeks already??!), but since we kinda left our brains where we were, and now that the brain has been packed, sealed and shipped back to us, we're able to write at least 2 coherent sentences once again!

So we're coming to about the end of our writing quota for today, we just wanted you to know that we're back, and be updating soon.

While We're Away

Dear Shopaholics,

We've learnt that we've been nominated for a fun poll on 'Your Shopping Kaki'. The Best Pictures Shopscar goes to the blog with the most votes and it's based on, why, Best Pictures of course!

Apparently someone over there feels we've been true to that saying about how a picture tells a thousand words (yet we still find ourselves writing a thousand words over a particular piece of clothing we love too much). Exclusively at Shopaholics Unite!

We did give a sneak preview of the ultimate Summer Summer Dress in our previous post and here it is!

Many of you may remember our pretty famous 'Vintage-y Tea Dress' from some time back, it did create a sort of craze and then a sudden void as we began to feel that wearing the same dress (though in three different colours) under rotation week after week is just not right, we needed more.

And here's giving you more! In brand new Summer 2009 colours, we're lovin' it!

Not to burst the bubble or anything, we do need to tell you that we are travelling starting this Wed (13th May) till end month. Therefore, if you'd like to get your hands on any of these dresses or anything else from our shop, payment will need to be made by Tuesday evening latest so we can ship these babies out before we go off gallivanting!

Also, on the plus side, we're proud to share that the Summer 2009 Tea Dress is the first collection under our 'Shopaholics Unite!' label, which means that you will find this dress here, and no where else. Nada. Nope. Yelek.
