In Case Of Dresses

A very dear friend of ours just got engaged this month and we have to say, this is the beginning of the end we tell you. One by one they will drop off the social radar and begin a domesticated and home cooked food life -which we have to admit, actually, is not too bad. In fact, our idea once married is to open a cafe and play mah jong all day.

The bad thing is thinking of what to wear for weddings. Which brought us to the conclusion that it's always wise to stock up on dinner dresses. Because you never know when another one will pop the champagne.

We do like the soft sheer look and yet it's so simple so it leaves so much room to dress it up or down depending on the whether the number of tables in the wedding hall runs in the tens or hundreds.

We freakin' fell in love with this dress, though it is so out of our regular line up of clothes, we couldn't help it. We needed to get one for ourselves so that's how we ended up with another in stock as we needed to buy them in bulk. Beware though that it's pretty long but we reckon it's really part of the appeal. So wear higher heels, so what?
