#1 Merry Makeover

We absolutely love the marimekko-ish prints here! The colours, the colours! Did we say, absolutely perfect fit? We like not having to wear a freakin strapless bra to wear a dress as our bras (for obvious reasons) rarely stay in place without straps. Ok, we digress, it's about the dress and oh how we love it!

Ooh, did we say, the straps, totally adjustable! Not in the fake plastic buckle thingy at the back way but held together by two buttons hidden inside at the back with button holes at two different lengths.

If that whole button mechanism totally boggled your mind then forget what we were saying and just go with wearing it strapless:

We Know A Sign When We See One

We know it's time to update when we get enquiries for availability of items posted up as far back as March 2007. And update we definately will. To be fair, we're giving an early head's up for our new post which will be up by 10.30AM (today or tomorrow, depending on when you're reading this, to be sure: that's Tuesday, 16 Sept) as we're liking this dress in our soon to be post ALOT. ALOT in the sense of 'we're keeping every single colour for ourselves' ALOT. The distressing bit is that there's really really very few pieces left. So don't say we didn't say so!

Befuddled By Ruffles

We had during one occasion been told by a magazine stylist that ruffles are, oooh, a little tacky. But surely just for this cute lil ruffly topamagic thingy, there is an exception?:

Well, we've only got a couple of pieces left anyway, we've been holding on to this for awhile till we finally got around to taking a pic. And plus, we thought we should try to have an update ever so often. So there, does not mean we love this top any less, we have one too in our own wardrobe!

We wore this during our most recent party and it felt fabulous. There's just something liberating about being in a long skirt though logically it's a regression from the whole mini skirt thing, but. There's just something.
